Who is our speaker?

Carlos, Chief Marketing Officer at Freepik, is at the helm of the organization’s global Marketing and Communications endeavors. He bears the responsibility of elevating Freepik’s brand awareness and expanding its market reach on a global scale, with a particular focus on strategic markets such as the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

Originally from Mexico, Carlos relocated to Dublin, Ireland, in 2018 to lead Twitter’s EMEA Business Marketing team. Prior to this, he held the position of Head of Brand Strategy for Twitter in Spanish-speaking LATAM, contributing to the company’s growth and impact in the region.

Carlos’s professional voyage spans an 15-year tenure in the advertising industry, during which he evolved from traditional advertising to becoming an Integrated Creative Director encompassing traditional, digital, experiential, and shopper marketing projects.

Carlos is an advocate for the Latinx community within the Tech Industry. He believes in the intrinsic value of diversity as a catalyst for creativity and innovation, fostering an environment where new ideas flourish and breakthroughs emerge.
